Workshop This Saturday

The Stand’s October Workshop will be held this Saturday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the South Side Innovation Center, 2610 S. Salina St. in Syracuse.

Verbal Blend will return to lead the workshop that we are especially encouraging teens to attend.

Verbal Blend is a spoken-word poetry program designed to enhance students’ confidence in writing and performing original poems. Attendees at Saturday’s Workshop will get the opportunity to showcase their work by presenting at the end of the workshop or having their poetry published in a future issue of The Stand.
