Home Maintenance Program to Start

Tonight, Jubilee Homes will hold the fall session of its Home Maintenance and Repair program.  The free program is the third and final one of this year. “The main purpose is to teach current and potential home owners how to make repairs to their house,” said Desaree Dixie, Jubilee Homes’ housing director.

Store-for-a-Day Shows Potential

On every third Saturday of the month, Antonisha Trapps, food cooperative manager for the South Side Community Coalition, opens the Store-for-a-Day, a produce stand that serves locally grown fruits and vegetables to residents on the South Side.
