Ways to contribute
The Stand wants to hear and share your voice. We welcome your stories, poems, pictures and your reporting! We even have iStand Computers in the South Side for you to record video stories and interviews.
You can submit your stories and pictures:
» By sending them as e-mail attachments to ashley@mysouthsidestand.com
» By dropping by The Stand’s office at the South Side Innovation Center (2610 South Salina St.) and giving it to Ashley in person
» By using one of the three iStand Computers that are stationed throughout the South Side community. The computers have Internet capabilities for sending your print stories and photos
Also, the iStand Computers have Webcams for you to record video stories and interviews. Videos recorded on an iStand Computer Webcam or a flip camera can be submitted in several ways:
» First upload to YouTube and send a link to the video to ashley@mysouthsidestand.com
» Or, save to an iStand Computer’s desktop, and alert Ashley that it is ready to be uploaded
» Lastly, drop by the office with a copy of the video saved to a memory device or stored on the flip camera
