Photo Walk Winner Named
The South Side Photo Walk The Stand held in conjunction with Scott Kelby’s Third annual Worldwide Photo Walk Saturday July 24 welcomed several photographers into Syracuse’s South Side.
As part of the Scott Kelby Walk, a winner is chosen by each team leader from the day’s walk. Winning photos are chosen from the ones uploaded to the Scott Kelby Web site. The winning photo is by Cindy Jordan and can be seen below.

Final Friday for Film Festival
The Southside Community Coalition and Syracuse University’s South Side Initiative are sponsoring the fourth annual South Side Film Festival this month.
A film will be shown each Friday beginning at 8:30 p.m. in the KeyBank parking lot, located on the corner of South Salina and Colvin streets. The final showing is “Good Hair.” The outdoor screenings are free and open to the public. Those attending should bring chairs or blankets. Refreshments will be available for purchase; no coolers, alcohol or glass bottles will be allowed on the premises.
